Electrical Safety Checks (EICRs)
As your landlord, we’re legally required to carry out regular electrical safety checks to make sure everything in your home is safe and working properly. These checks happen every five years, or sooner if someone new moves into the property.
We’ll contact you when your home is due for its inspection and arrange a convenient appointment. The visit usually takes around 3 to 4 hours, depending on the size of your home and how many circuits we need to test.
Please note, we’ll need to switch off the electricity at the main supply during the check—but don’t worry, we’ll remind you in advance so you can plan ahead.
If we find anything that needs fixing, we’ll take care of it—there’s nothing for you to worry about.
