Food banks are not-for-profit organisations that provide food and support to people who are struggling financially. They rely on public donations to continue feeding people in crisis.

Doncaster Foodbank (Trussell Trust)

Opening Times: Wednesdays & Fridays, 10am to 12 noon
Rossington
Holmescarr Centre, Grange Lane, Rossington, DN11 0LP
Opening times: Thursdays, 10am to 12 noon
Food parcels are free of charge and contain food to last 3 days. However parcels can only be given out if the individual has been issued a voucher by an authorised voucher holder. Jobcentre Plus, Citizens Advice Bureau and St Leger Homes are among the voucher holders.

Bentley Baptist Community Foodbank (BBC)
Bentley Baptist Church, Askern Road, Bentley, DN5 0EQ
Opening times: Mondays, 1pm - 3pm
Food parcels are free of charge and contain food to last up to a week. Parcels can only be given out if the individual has been referred by professionals/organisations of which St Leger Homes is one of these. This food bank supports residents with a DN5 post code. Find out more on their website.
People Focused Group (PFG) - Wellness Centre
Intake Wellness Centre, 45 Montrose Avenue, Intake, DN2 6PL
Opening times: Monday - Friday 9am - 4pm
Food parcels are free of charge and contain food to last 3 days. The Wellness Centre has a community kitchen in which members can get a hot meal for £1 between 12:30 - 1:30pm Monday to Friday.

CRY - Askern
St Peter's Church Community Hall, Sutton Road, Askern
Opening times: Thursdays, 10:30am to 1pm
Parcels are free of charge but limited to one per person over a 3 week cycle, unless a person can prove they will be in a crisis situation for a number of weeks and then consideration would be given on an individual basis. This food bank supports residents of Askern, Norton and Campsall. Food parcels are free of charge.
Thorne & Moorends Food Bank
The Rugby Club, Church Balk, Thorne, DN8 5BU
Opening times: Thursdays, 10am to 12 noon

DN7 Community Foodbank
St Mary's Church Hall, Field Road, Stainforth, DN7 5AQ
Opening times: Fridays, 10:00am to 12:30pm
If a client needs to use the Foodbank they must bring proof of benefits or low income and ID of their current address. Parcels contain food to last 3 days. This food bank supports residents with a DN7 post code.
ECO Food Bank Edlington
Yorkshire Main Community Centre, Edlington Lane, Edlington, DN12 1AB
Opening times: Thursdays, 11am to 1pm
Food parcels are free of charge and contain food to last 3 days. This food bank supports residents of Edlington and Warmsworth.
Mexborough Food Bank
Mexborough Family Hub (formerly the Children's Centre), Wath Rd, Mexborough, S64 9ED
Opening times: Fridays, 10am to 12 noon
Parcels can only be given out if the individual has been issued a voucher by an authorised voucher holder. Mexborough & Denaby Children's Centre, St Leger Homes, Mexborough CAB and South Yorkshire Credit Union are among the voucher holders. Parcels contain food to last 3 days.
