Doncaster food banks will accept food donations during their opening times listed below. Let’s all help to support those in need and make purchasing extra items for the food bank a regular part your shopping routine.

Here are some of the organisations operating food banks in Doncaster:

 

Doncaster Foodbank (Trussel Trust)

Town Centre 

Christ Church, Thorne Road, DN1 2HG

Opening times: Wednesdays, 11am to 1pm & Fridays, 11am to 1pm

Bentley

Bentley Baptist Church (opposite Bentley Pavilion), Askern Road, Bentley, DN5 0EW

Opening times: Mondays, 1pm to 3pm

Rossington

Holmescarr Centre, Grange Lane, Rossington, DN11 0LP

Opening times: Thursdays, 11am to 1pm

Food parcels are free of charge and contain food to last 3 days. However parcels can only be given out if the individual has been issued a voucher by an authorised voucher holder. Jobcentre Plus, Citizens Advice Bureau and St Leger Homes are among the voucher holders.

New Directions Foodbank - Balby

The Gladys Ambler Centre, Warmsworth Road, Balby, DN4 0RD

Opening times: Tuesdays, 2:30pm to 4pm

Food parcels are free of charge but monetary donations are welcome. Parcels contain food to last 3 days.

 

CRY - Askern

St Peter's Church Community Hall, Sutton Road, Askern

Opening times: Thursdays, 11am to 1pm

Parcels are free of charge but limited to one per person over a 3 week cycle. This food bank supports residents of Askern, Norton and Campsall. 


Thorne & Moorends Food Bank        

The Rugby Club, Church Balk, Thorne, DN8 5BU

Opening times: Wednesdays, 9am to 12pm

DN7 Community Foodbank

St Mary's Church Hall, Field Road, Stainforth, DN7 5AQ

Opening times: Fridays, 10:30am to 1pm

Parcels can only be given out if the individual has been issued a voucher by an authorised voucher holder, such as St Leger Homes. Parcels contain food to last 3 days. This food bank supports residents with a DN7 post code.


ECO Food Bank Edlington

Yorkshire Main Community Centre, Edlington Lane, Edlington, DN12 1AB

Opening times: Thursdays 11am to 1pm

Food parcels are free of charge and contain food to last 3 days. This food bank supports residents of Edlington and Warmsworth.


Mexborough Food Bank

Mexborough Children's Centre, Wath Rd, Mexborough, S64 9ED

Opening times: Fridays, 11am to 1pm

Parcels can only be given out if the individual has been issued a voucher by an authorised voucher holder. Mexborough & Denaby Children's Centre, St Leger Homes, Mexborough CAB and South Yorkshire Credit Union are among the voucher holders.
