Whether you are moving into your first tenancy, fleeing crisis, or starting again after homelessness, we ensure you have what you need to live independently.
Who Can Apply?
You may be eligible if you:

Are offered a St Leger Homes tenancy

Are in need of essential items

And can afford the service charge as deemed by your assessment with the Furnished Tenancy Officer.
Eligibility will be assessed on a case by case basis.
How the Scheme Works

Offer Our Homechoice team will ask whether you would like the option of a furnished tenancy when they ring to offer you a St Leger Homes property.

Assessment:
Our Furnished Tenancy Support Worker will discuss your needs and eligibility.

Item Selection:
Essential items will be chosen based on your circumstances and affordability.

Delivery & Installation:
All items are delivered, installed safely, and ready for use.

Affordable Payments:
A weekly service charge added to your rent—if you qualify for Universal Credit or Housing Benefits, this charge can be covered fully or partially by these benefits depending on your eligibility.

Ongoing Support:
Repairs or replacements (for normal wear and tear) are included as part of the scheme.
