The Early Help Hub is the new first point of contact for all enquiries from practitioners working with children and young people who are seeking advice and information about possible resources and / or advice on supporting a child through the CAF and Team Around the Child arrangements. The Hub team has been formed from staff in the current DMBC Early Help Service, Education Welfare and Stronger Families services, Doncaster Children’s Trust Intensive Support Team and will be joined by practitioners from other partner agencies, including St Leger Homes of Doncaster.
If there is a query about how to help somebody access a service or if there are concerns around a family that need discussing then the Hub can be contacted using the contact details below. The team is available from 8.30am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday, and telephone messages will be responded to within one working day.
T: 01302 734110
If you need to make a referral, you can complete one form which goes to ONE FRONT DOOR and you will get one of two responses.
In order for this form to be processed it must be completed in full and consent must be provided (only if a child would be put at risk can a form be submitted without consent)
For urgent safeguarding concerns please call the Duty team (Tel. 01302 737777) who continue to be responsible for receiving referrals from Practitioners who are worried about the safety or well-being of a child or young person and whose needs they think may meet the threshold for intervention at Level 4 of the Doncaster Safeguarding Children Board threshold guidance.
If this concern is not deemed to be immediate you will be directed to fill in the referral form using the link below
Where you believe there is immediate risk of significant harm the police should be contacted on 999.
