We’re proud to announce that we’ve been awarded Tpas Exemplar status – the highest accolade in tenant engagement.
This prestigious recognition is reserved for organisations that have achieved Tpas accreditation three times, making us only the fourth housing provider in England to reach this milestone.
What is Tpas Exemplar Status?
Tpas is the national champion for tenant engagement in social housing. Their accreditation process measures organisations against seven rigorous Engagement Standards, aligned with expectations from the Social Housing Regulator. Achieving Exemplar status confirms St Leger Homes as a beacon of best practice, with a culture of engagement embedded throughout our organisation.
The Journey to Accreditation
The rigorous process included:
- A detailed self-assessment supported by evidence.
- A staff culture survey.
- Workshops and interviews with our staff and customers.

The award was presented by Emma Gilpin from Tpas to Chief Executive Chris Margrave at the Annual Tenant Celebration event.
