We are thrilled to tell you that we have been named as Large Employer of the Year at the Doncaster College Apprenticeship Awards!
The announcement was made at the awards ceremony held on Thursday 1 February 2024.
This honour comes in recognition of our successful apprenticeship scheme which we have been running for almost two decades. Apprentices play an important role in our organisation and we are proud to help people from across our local communities to build their knowledge, skills and experience as they take the first steps in their career.
We currently employ a total of 48 apprentices in a variety of roles across our organisation. Within our trades apprentice group, 97% of people have been able to secure permanent positions with us at the end of their apprenticeship. Among office-based apprentices, 82% went on to permanent roles at St Leger Homes with the remaining people earning permanent jobs at other organisations.
