We're proud to announce that we've been awarded DAHA Gold Status by the Domestic Abuse Housing Alliance (DAHA), a nationally recognised mark of excellence for housing providers.
The accreditation recognises organisations that have strong domestic abuse policies in place, use trauma-informed approaches, and provide effective safeguarding and support for customers affected by domestic abuse.
Jane Davies, Director of Housing and Customer Services, said:
"We're delighted to have achieved DAHA Gold Status. This recognition reflects the hard work and dedication of our teams in ensuring customers feel safe, supported and listened to.
For our customers, this accreditation provides reassurance that domestic abuse is taken seriously, that help is available, and that we're committed to providing a safe, inclusive and supportive service for everyone who needs us."
Achieving DAHA Gold Status demonstrates our commitment to supporting customers affected by domestic abuse and providing services that put their safety and wellbeing first.
We'll continue working closely with specialist partners and listening to our customers to ensure we deliver the highest standards of support, helping to create safer homes and stronger communities.
