St Leger Homes will launch a Repairs Excellence Project, a new way of working that is set to modernise the way repairs and maintenance work is delivered to council tenants, on Monday 13th June.
The Repairs Excellence Project builds on a successful pilot project which began earlier this year, improving communication with tenants to make sure that people who need repairs carried out in their home are kept fully up-to-date throughout every stage of the process.
As well as providing a more customer focussed experience for tenants, The Repairs Excellence Project will also make repairs more efficient and cost effective by reducing missed appointments and wasted journey times for operatives.
Tenants will receive regular contact by text message or telephone to confirm that everything is on track with their repair, including a reminder on the day to make sure that someone will be at home at the time of the appointment.
Dave Richmond, Chief Executive of St Leger Homes, said:
“We know from surveys we carried out at the end of 2021 that 93% of our customers said they are already satisfied with the work we do for them, however we always strive to improve and build upon the services we provide.
“We are delighted to be extending our Repairs Excellence Project to all our tenants across Doncaster, strengthening our repairs service by offering a number of new benefits, making the process of arranging a repair in our tenants’ homes much smoother and easier.”
