This week we opened the voting for people to choose the 2018 winners of our prestigious Tenants’ Choice Awards.
The awards recognise excellence and achievements, by local individuals and community groups across Doncaster, who in the last 12 months have been making a positive difference in their local area.
Nominations for the awards themselves are made by Doncaster tenants and residents – and the finalists in each category have been selected by Steve Waddington, Director of Housing Services, and Rodger Haldenby, Vice Chair of the St Leger Homes Board. The final decision on who will win will now be taken by tenants and residents living in Doncaster.
To cast your vote and decide who will win a Tenants’ Choice Award this year, please visit https://www.stlegerhomes.co.uk/news/tenants-choice-awards-2018/ or call 01302 862 743.
Voting forms will also be printed in April’s HouseProud magazine, which will be sent to all tenants allowing them to vote by post.
Voting closes on Friday 1st June 2018.
Winners will be announced at the awards ceremony in July and will also appear in the October issue of HouseProud.
Chief Executive of St Leger Homes, Paul Tanney, said:
“We know that there are so many people in Doncaster making a positive difference in their local areas. We are proud to work alongside them, and we want to pay tribute to their efforts.
“Every year we hear new inspirational stories of how local people are making Doncaster a better place for everyone to enjoy. It’s a great place to live and work, and a big part of that is down to these community champions who put the welfare of others first.
“We’d encourage everyone to take five minutes out of their day to take part in these awards – visit https://www.stlegerhomes.co.uk/news/tenants-choice-awards-2018/ and cast your vote!
