St Leger Homes has been shortlisted for a UK Housing Award in the Landlord of the Year category.
We will now be invited to an awards ceremony taking place on Wednesday 1st May 2019 at the Grosvenor Hotel, Park Lane, London, where the winner will be announced.
Paul Tanney, Chief Executive of St Leger Homes, said:
“Being shortlisted for Landlord of the Year by this prestigious national award is great news for Doncaster. It’s also a great testament to the commitment of our staff, who on a daily basis work hard to make things better for our tenants and local communities across the borough.
“We’re pleased that despite facing challenging circumstances nationally, we have remained a low cost high performing organisation compared to similar housing providers.
“We have made £1.2m of savings and reinvested the majority of this money back into improving services locally. In addition to this we have received an accreditation for Customer Service Excellence for the seventh year in a row from the Government.
“In the last 12 months we also set up a new Tenancy Sustainability Team helping tenants affected by changes to the welfare system and the roll out of Universal Credit. It’s great that we continue to lead the way with innovative services that meet the needs of people locally, particularly the most vulnerable.
“Our commitment to making a difference for our tenants is always at the heart of what we do, and it is great that is being recognised by others in the housing sector.”
