Last month, we were lucky enough to be selected to take part in an International Study Visit to London, working with colleagues from across the world to share how we engage with young people.
Our Young Person's Engagement Officer, Stacey Lynn, met people from 11 countries – with representatives attending from Pakistan, Poland, Ukraine, Columbia, Brazil, Egypt to name a few!
The event – organised by Flying Futures and funded by the British Council – has been a real eye opener, as well as a good opportunity for us to share about the important work that is happening on the ground across Doncaster.
Stacey works with young people aged 16 to 25 years who are looking to develop skills and confidence to be able to sustain a home, and who want to develop skills which can improve their aspirations and life chances. She also works with hard to reach communities, developing avenues for them to have a voice, which in turn can help shape our services.
