On 2 March 2015, the Doncaster Safeguarding Adults Partnership Board launched the ‘Keeping Safe’ campaign to raise awareness of adult abuse and how to report abuse concerns.
The campaign reinforces the message that everyone has the right to be safe, respected, and heard and includes information leaflets, posters and a film “If you See something, Say something”. The film is designed to help people recognise the different types of abuse, to encourage people to report abuse when they see it and to let people know how they can report it.
Residents are encouraged to watch the film at http://www.doncaster.gov.uk/safeguardingfilm and look out for the posters and leaflets as they will be displayed around Doncaster.
If someone is treating you or someone you know badly or if you see, hear or suspect that an adult is being abused please telephone: 01302 737391 or if it’s an emergency out of hours 01302 796000. If a crime has been committed, contact the Police.
Information can be given in confidence. You do not have to give your name.
