Two St. Leger Homes’ employees are celebrating after taking home the top prize in two prestigious national awards.
Third year roofing apprentice Riley O’Sullivan was a winner at the Association for Public Service Excellence (APSE) National Housing and Building Apprentice of the Year awards. The awards give recognition to the next generation of tradespeople, and organisations which invest in their workforce by providing quality training and apprenticeships.
Riley, who is 18, won in the Male Building Skills category due to his high level of expertise and positive approach to work.
Executive Support Officer Laura Evans was named as Newcomer of the Year at the Executive PA Magazine Awards which celebrate the exceptional talent and achievements of professional Personal and Executive Assistants.
Susan Jordan, Chief Executive of St. Leger Homes, said: “Congratulations to Laura and Riley on their tremendous success in winning these prestigious awards. They are shining examples of what can be achieved through hard work and dedication and I am so proud of them both.”
Ros Jones, Mayor of Doncaster, said: “We are working hard to nurture the talents of local pupils and students and create a range of gateways into long-term employment.
