Local housing provider St Leger Homes has announced a large number of new apprenticeship opportunities from next month.
The announcement coincides with National Apprenticeship Week 2021 and Doncaster Council’s commitment to help local communities recover from the Covid pandemic and the ‘Doncaster Promise’ – a commitment between businesses and education to work in partnership local people are equipped with the skills and experience they need to be successful in the workforce - and is also in line with the Mayor of Doncaster's priorities on promoting apprenticeships locally.
The organisation manages over 20,000 properties on behalf of Doncaster Council, and since 2005 their annual apprenticeship programme has trained over 130 people from the local area.
On 15th March, over 12 opportunities will be launched across a variety of trades and office roles, including:
- Gas fitting
- Chartered Surveying
- Learning & Development
- Business Administration
