Local housing provider St Leger Homes of Doncaster is pleased to announce that it has appointed Anthony French and Steve Lyons as new tenant members of its Board.
Anthony French is a tenant who lives in Mexborough and runs his own design business, creating garments and accessories for clients and their homes. Before deciding to start his own business, Anthony worked in the customer services field and has particular interests in graphics, photography and ICT. Anthony has been appointed for a three year term.
Steve Lyons is a tenant living in the Woodlands area of Doncaster who retired in 2014 and has been actively volunteering since. Steve has been involved with St Leger Homes for three years and became the Secretary of the Tenant and Residents Involvement Panel (TRIP) in 2016. Steve also volunteers with the Patient Participation Group of Princess Medical Centre and for Museums Sheffield Trust. Steve has been appointed for a one year term.
Both Anthony and Steve were appointed on 26th September and attended their first Board meeting on this date.
The Board of St Leger Homes is made up of 11 members: A Chair; three Tenants; three Independent Members; three Councillors from Doncaster Council and the Chief Executive.
