Management Agreement Renewed

Local housing provider St Leger Homes of Doncaster is celebrating after Doncaster Council renewed their management agreement to run to 31st March 2024.

St Leger Homes have managed Doncaster Council’s social housing stock since October 2005, and the renewal comes after an independent performance assessment which shows St Leger Homes is a low cost, mid to high performing organisation compared to peers in the ALMO sector and also housing providers nationally.

Paul Tanney, Chief Executive of St Leger Homes, said:

“We always put tenants at the heart of what we do and we are delighted to have the opportunity to carry on making real improvements for local people and communities in Doncaster until 2024. We have been consulting widely with our tenants about further improvements we can make to our services and we look forward to implementing some of these in the coming months. Doncaster is a great place to live and work, and we are proud to be playing our part in making a difference alongside our partners across the borough.”

Cllr Joe Blackham, Cabinet Member for Highways, Street Scene and Trading Services, said:

"We've witnessed substantial improvement in the way our housing stock has been managed over the course of the St Leger Homes operation. What we wish to see is the continued improvements and it's been demonstrated there is capacity to deliver that.”
