Tenancy Sustainability Team
Are you experiencing problems with managing your tenancy? Perhaps you’re looking for work, worried about rent arrears, have run up debts, need to claim Universal Credit or another benefit or you are simply struggling to make ends meet? If so, maybe we can help you?
The Tenancy Sustainability team at St Leger Homes provides housing support to tenants who need help to manage their tenancy.
We have helped many tenants to sort out their problems; particularly people who are struggling to manage their tenancy and have rent arrears or are behind with their bills and facing legal action.
Some of the people we have helped have not coped too well because they have had a mental health issue, health problems or drug and alcohol dependencies. Whilst we are unable to help you with these, we can put you in touch with the right people or agencies who can.
The Tenancy Sustainability team offers support to tenants in their own homes; people needing a little help to deal with problems they are facing to avoid the potential of losing their home. We are also able to help people who have become a tenant for the first time and perhaps need some guidance on avoiding some of the pitfalls.
If you are moving into a St Leger Homes property, or you’re already a tenant we can assist you to set up and run your home independently. We offer a range of support services that may be of interest to you, including:
- Give you help and advice on problematic debt
- Help you to claim the right benefits including Universal Credit
- Budgeting Support
- Advice to get on top of your finances
- Help to find employment
- Helping you set up or change gas and electric suppliers
- Helping you find the right support for mental health or addiction problems
