St Leger Homes Response:

St Leger Homes investigate incidents of hate crimes in accordance with our anti-social behaviour procedure and the relevant process and timescales are followed. We work as a key partner operating as part of the statutory Safer Stronger Doncaster Partnership (SSDP), working closely with partners in a collective effort to reduce Crime & Disorder across all our communities.

Reporting Hate Crimes or Incidents:

A report can be made by anyone who is aware of the incident, not just the victim. The Doncaster partnership offers a wide variety of reporting services, including third party reporting centres, on-line reporting and a dedicated telephone line.

Reporting centres

A number of hate crime reporting centres are spread across the borough and offer an alternative reporting service for victims, should they wish to report at a location other than a police station.

Any reports taken at a centre will be treated in the strictest of confidence. Specially-trained staff will provide the appropriate help and support to the victim should they require it.
