 David Wilkinson 


 Dave recently retired as an Assistant Director at Doncaster Council, where he gained over 20 years’ experience of senior management within the Local Authority sector.  

Dave is currently the Chair of Milton Special School and sits on the Board of Directors of the Multi Academy Trust.  He has over 30 years’ experience as a school governor and previously chaired the governing bodies of a large primary school and small junior school in his hometown of Mexborough. 

He is committed to working with fellow Directors and SLHD management to ensure the company provides the best possible service to its tenants and the people of Doncaster.

Maureen Tennison (Vice Chair)

Maureen is a tenant and lives in Warmsworth and is involved in many activities across the borough. Maureen is the Treasurer of the Edlington Royal TARA and also the Treasurer of Friends of Martinwells Lake. She has been a Magistrate for nine years and is a newly appointed member of the Police and Crime Panel and also a Community Crime Fighter for the West area. As well as being involved in various St. Leger Homes focus groups, Maureen is also a Tenant Panel Member of Efficiency North.

Anthony French

Anthony is a tenant who lives in Mexborough and runs his own design business, creating garments and accessories for clients and their homes. Before deciding to create his own business, Anthony worked in the customer services field and has particular interests in graphics, photography and ICT.

Steve Lyons

Steve is a tenant living in Woodlands who retired in 2014 and has been actively volunteering since. Steve has been involved with St Leger Homes for 3 years and became the Secretary of the Tenant and Residents Involvement Panel (TRIP) in 2016. Steve also volunteers with the Patient Participation Group of Princess Medical Centre and for Museums Sheffield Trust.

Stuart Booth

Stuart is an Executive Director with over 30 years’ experience working in a variety of finance roles. He has substantial experience operating in the public sector and is currently Executive Director of Support Services at South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service (SYFR).

Prior to joining SYFR, Stuart was Director of Finance at Rotherham MBC. As part of his role, he was responsible for the financial management of a property portfolio of around 21,000 council properties and as such, has a strong working knowledge of housing regulations and legislation.

 Susan Jones 

Susan currently runs her own HR and Management Solutions business and is working for Jones Cooper Wealth Management Limited as HR and Business Development Director.  She has over 20 years’ experience operating at both Executive and Board level in a number of successful retail, financial, and professional services organisations. She is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development and a Member of the Institute of Directors. Previously she was Chair of Trustees at a local Grammar School and Trustee for a regional charitable trust.

Trevor Mason

Trevor has over 25 years’ experience at director level across public service and the private training and education sector. Since 2002 he has worked as a Chief Executive, most recently with a large regional based charity and social enterprise focusing on the physical and skills development and regeneration of deprived areas. Trevor brings considerable experience of working at a strategic level in financial management and budgeting.

Joe Blackham

Joe was elected in 2004 and is currently the ward member for Thorne and Moorends and is also the Cabinet Member for Trading Services, Property and Assets, Highways, Street Scene and the Town Centre.

Jane Nightingale

Jane was elected to the Bentley ward in 2012 and is currently a member of the Mayor’s Cabinet with responsibility for Customer & Corporate Services.  Jane is also a member of the Elections and Democratic Services Committee and a member of Brodsworth Parish Council.  In the past Jane has worked in a Housing Environment for a previous Authority.

Allan Jones

Allan was elected to Finningley ward in 2002. He is presently the vice chair of the Councils Audit Committee. He has a wide range of knowledge and involvement in community issues. 

Paul Tanney
Paul Tanney

Paul joined St Leger Homes in January 2017. Paul brings a wealth of experience with him to Doncaster and has worked in the housing sector for over 30 years, the majority at Senior and Executive level. He is the former Chief Executive of both East Durham Homes and more recently Four Housing Group.
