St. Leger Homes Private Landlord Services

St. Leger Homes has gained considerable experience through the management of approximately 21,000 Doncaster Council owned properties and we have been externally validated by the Tenants Services Authority and awarded Managing Agent Status.

These factors along with the skills and experience that the organisation possesses have enabled us to manage privately owned properties on behalf of independent landlords.

The potential for St. Leger Homes to provide a residential lettings and property management service has been under development for some time now and we have reached a point where we welcome interest from potential customers.

Our offering is currently based on two levels of service:-

Silver – incorporates access to St. Leger Home’s 24-hour repairs service (which are re-chargeable to the Landlord), a pre-termination inspection including meter readings and management of the property while ever it is empty - as well as offering  a ‘tenant find’ service including offering assistance with Council tax and benefit forms, accompanied viewings and the provision of a Welcome Pack.

Gold – includes annual gas servicing and heating system checks as well as managing the tenancy (including tenancy breaches) – in addition to all of the above.

We would require that any property that we manage is in a reasonable condition to an agreed lettable standard. All of the properties that we manage would have to be free of hazards as prescribed in the Housing Health and Safety Rating System as well as being safe, secure and clean - with all facilities and components in good working order.
