Leaseholder Information
Our customers include a number of leaseholders that
have entered into a leasehold contract for their homes with
Doncaster Metropolitan Borough Council.
We aim to provide the highest levels of service to our
leaseholder customers and we have produced
a Leaseholder Services
Leaflet providing information to
leaseholders about our service standards. You can also find other
useful documents at the bottom of this page.
Repairs and maintenance
Responsibility for repairs and maintenance is set out in the
lease document, together with the fee payable by the leaseholder
for the services carried out by St Leger Homes of Doncaster on
behalf of Doncaster Metropolitan Borough Council.
Our responsibility:
- All communal areas, such as staircases to flats and gardens and
paths
- Structural repairs including the foundations, external walls,
roof, window frames, external doors and frames and service
pipes.
Leaseholder responsibility:
- Floor services including floorboards
- Internal plaster to walls and ceilings
- Glass to windows
- Internal non-structural walls
- Plumbing and wiring inside the home
