Boost for Arts & Crafts sessions

Boost for arts and craft sessions

Stainforth tenants and residents who attend a local arts and crafts class have received a £150 boost, thanks to St Leger Homes of Doncaster.

Members of the Polton Close Tenants and Residents Association (TARA) successfully applied for the money for the class they run – now the cash will be used to buy materials.

St Leger Homes of Doncaster is the organisation that manages just over 21,000 properties for Doncaster Council.

Mary Nesbitt, secretary of the TARA, said: “It’s a great class. Tenants and residents come along and as well as learning arts and crafts skills they have a chance to chat to each other. It’s a great community event. We are really grateful for the donation.”

Martin Musgrave, Chief Executive of St Leger Homes of Doncaster, said: “We are only too happy to sponsor this project. We firmly believe in investing in the communities we serve.”
