Safeguarding children and adults - Don't let abuse go unnoticed, don't ignore, report it!

Safeguarding Children and Adults is everyone’s responsibility and mistreatment of any child or adult is not acceptable.  Remember, doing nothing is not an option.

St Leger Homes is a member of the Doncaster Partnership Safeguarding Children Board and Doncaster Safeguarding Adults Partnership Board.  The agencies that form these boards are working together to ensure that children and adults in Doncaster are safeguarded and protected.  We know that abuse of the financial, neglect, discriminatory, psychological, institutional, emotional, physical and sexual kind affects a lot of people, often over long periods of time.

Anyone raising a concern that a child or adult is being abused or neglected will be taken seriously and we will act promptly and appropriately.

What do I do if I suspect that abuse is happening?
