The Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) Doncaster Settlers TARA exists to give tenants and residents from the traditionally under-represented community the opportunity to become involved and have a greater say on the services they receive.

The TARA started life as the BME Focus Group back in February, 2006.  Due to the success and growth of the group, its members decided to become a constituted TARA.  They are also the first borough wide TARA in Doncaster and the first BME TARA in the country.

To enable members to fully participate in the meetings we are able to provide translation and interpretation services and re-imburse travel costs up to £5.

Refreshments are provided at the meeting.
