Decent Homes
The biggest ever
improvement programme for council homes in Doncaster is being
planned by St Leger Homes of Doncaster. The work is intended
to meet the Doncaster Decency Standard by 2015.
The programme will cost around £280 million and involve
improvements to a large proportion of the council homes in
Doncaster. This is a huge undertaking and one that could not
be contemplated without the support and involvement of our
customers. We work closely with the Doncaster Federation of
Tenants and Residents Associations and together we will ensure that
all our customers have access to information about the
improvements.
The Decent Homes Standard initiative is over and above the
routine maintenance and upgrading work that will continue to be
carried out.
