Debt & Welfare Benefit Advice

As a tenant of St Leger Homes, we expect you to pay your rent and other charges every week. Failure to do so, could result in a County Court Judgement, Court Costs in excess of £200 and eviction from your home.

However, we do recognise the fact that making these payments is sometimes very difficult and other debts may need some attention as well.

It could be that you need some help and advice on managing your debts and making the most of the money that you receive.

St Leger Homes of Doncaster has produced a Rent Arrears and Debt Advice booklet in order to point you in the right direction. It sets out clearly what to do if you start having problems paying your rent and also gives you some useful information on where to receive free independent advice, together with contact details of other organisations who may be able to help.
