SLHD will not unreasonably refuse permission however you must not commence work until permission in writing has been granted. We aim to let you know as soon as possible, usually within 28 days.

Application for tenants own improvements and alterations

We are happy for you to obtain quotes prior to your permission application.

Costs of the improvement / alteration must be met by the applicant, including plans.

Some home improvement will require Planning Permission and or Building Control.  The Planning Portal Link below will allow you access to more information.
