The severe weather conditions we all experienced last year led to an increased number of gas central heating repairs, many due to the external condensate pipes on gas combination/condensate boilers freezing up. 

Making a few simple checks yourself can often get your boiler working again; ensure you have a warm home; and prevent any burst water pipes.
