What We Will Do
We take the problem of anti-social behaviour and neighbour
nuisance very seriously and we w
ill do all in our
power to stamp out behaviour that is serious and persistent.
We will:
- Arrange to talk to you in confidence by telephone or face to
face in order to understand your problem more clearly
- We will apply a Risk
Rating to each case which will determine the
urgency of the case.
- In serious cases, we will contact you within 24 hours
- We will always contact you within ten working days and usually
less
- Discuss the situation with you and explain what action we can
take
- We will attempt to resolve any disputes between neighbours
through mediation where appropriate. We now offer a free of
charge Mediation
Service for all tenants.
- We will provide you with an anti-social behaviour diary,
including advice and monitoring forms, where you can record further
incidents
- We will work with our
partners, such as the Police, Social Services and
Community First, the part of Doncaster Borough Council that
provides a range of services to improve local neighbourhoods
- In serious cases we will consider legal action against those
involved
- We will help and protect witnesses by all means available to
us
- We will write to you to ensure that you are happy with the way
your complaint has been dealt with and give you advice on what to
do if the problem re-occurs
