The purpose of the Sanctuary Scheme is to help sufferers of domestic violence and victims of hate crime to remain in their own homes and feel safe whilst receiving ongoing support from specialist agencies.

This new initiative launched by the Safer Doncaster Partnership provides enhanced security for people at risk of domestic violence, intimidation or harassment.

Because the scheme is operated in partnership, tenants and residents can feel secure in the knowledge that if they do have an emergency situation, all agencies will be on hand to help.

If you live in Doncaster and are experiencing domestic violence or harassment you may be eligible for the Sanctuary Scheme which is accessed via the Safer Doncaster Partnership who will carry out a risk assessment of your circumstances.
