Salary : Year 1 £12,081 for all trades ages 16/17

We are looking to recruit apprentices who are committed to providing our customers with the best possible service. We have an excellent record of training and developing our apprentices and many gain permanent jobs with us.

As an apprentice we will provide you with training and work experience in housing maintenance and repairs. You will work on a range of different types of properties, undertaking repairs and improvement works to customers’ homes and preparing empty homes for new tenants. Tasks will involve moving and handling of equipment and materials, use of various tools, working at height using ladders and scaffold and working outdoors.

Apprentices commit to a 3 or 4 year apprenticeship depending on their chosen trade which includes studying towards an NVQ level 3.

In addition to receiving a nationally recognised qualification, you will develop skills and confidence, gain experience and learn a trade, increasing your chances of getting a good job.

To succeed you will demonstrate an aptitude for practical work, good communication skills, the ability to follow instructions and to work as part of a team along with a commitment to work hard, attend regularly and complete your course work.
