Online logging of Repair Requests
Tenants are now able to log a repair request
for their property via the self-service facility within My
The facility gives tenants access to a
diagnostic tool showing pictures of all the things in a property
that might need repairing.
All tenants need to do is click on the picture
of the item in their home that needs repairing and the system asks
a series of questions to help the tenant to diagnose the repair.
Tenants can also state their preferred method of contact and a
preferred appointment date.
The system automatically passes the request to
the Technical Support Service who will contact the tenant to
confirm the repair and to make an appointment for the work to be
We are also looking at developing this further
to include the ability for tenants to check on progress of a repair
and, for some repairs, to book an appointment on line.
To use this facility you need to be
registered to use My Service. For security reasons a username and
password is sent in the post.
