Customer Satisfaction Survey
St Leger Homes are committed to listening to the views of our
customers and acting on the information you give us. This summer,
we are carrying out a large postal survey to find out how satisfied
you are with your home and the services you receive from us. We
will use this important information to help us make improvements in
our services and will report back to you on progress.
We have commissioned BMG Research, an independent research
company, to carry out the survey. This is to ensure that all
your answers are treated in the strictest confidence and used for
research purposes only. St Leger Homes will not be able to
identify the answers from any individual person or address.
Survey forms will be sent out to a random 4,000 tenants week
commencing 21 August 2006. We would really appreciate your help if
you receive one of these surveys. Please complete the survey and
return it in the pre-paid envelope provided by Friday 8th
September. Everyone completing the questionnaire
will be entered into a prize draw for £250 of high street
vouchers.
The results from the satisfaction survey will be available
during November 2006.
If you need any assistance completing the survey or have any
questions please call Kate Morris at BMG Research on
freephone: 0800 358 0336 who will be happy to help.

Choice Based Lettings
Doncaster Council is currently reviewing it's lettings policy
and is looking to introduce a choice-based system of assessing
applications for rehousing.
Choice based lettings (CBL) is a new way of finding a home to
rent which lets you apply for a home of your choice instead of
having to wait for an offer that somebody else thinks is
suitable.
Please click here to view more
information about CBL including the proposed policy
document.

Balby Bridge Residents Give Thanks
The Tenants and Residents in the Balby Bridge Area of Doncaster
have given their thanks to the team of Officers from St Leger Homes
and South Yorkshire Police. The officers have worked
hard to bring to an end the problems that one tenant has
caused by his acts of anti-social and criminal behaviour to the
many law abiding tenants and residents of Sandbeck House and the
surrounding Balby Bridge Estate.
A Closure Notice was issued on David Donkin's flat in Sandbeck
House and an Anti-Social Behaviour Order ordering him not to enter
the Balby Bridge Estate stated that
he: 'not engage in any conduct likely
to cause harassment, alarm or distress and not to encourage any
other person to act in the same way and not to do anything
involving drugs'. The Closure Order will remain
in force for 3 months and the Anti-social Behaviour Order for 2
years.
