The main board of St Leger Homes of Doncaster is made up
of 15 members. Board members are not paid and receive only
expenses.
The main board consists of:-
- Five tenant/leaseholder board members
- Five independent board members
- Five councillor board members
Sub-Committees
Within the structure there is 1 sub-committee which is the
Audit Committee, its membership is exclusive to the Board of
Directors.

Brian Naughton
Brian lives in Armthorpe, and served as a
member of the St Leger Buses Management Panel for six years.
He devotes much of his time working for local tenants. He is
a committee member of the CALM TARA and Chair of the Standing Joint
Committee of the Doncaster Federation of Tenants and Residents
Association.

Frank Protheroe
Frank has lived in Doncaster all of his life,
except for his army career and was educated at Kirkby Ave school at
Bentley and Doncaster College. A plasterer by trade, since leaving
the army he has lived in Woodlands, Tollbar and Bentley. He
was a local football referee in the 80's and now enjoys watching
rugby and football supporting the Dons and Rovers. As well as being
a member of the Audit Committee and Property Services Committee
within the St Leger Board structure, he is also chair of The
Homestead TARA and a committee member of the Bentley New Village
Safety Group.

Rodger Haldenby
Rodger is a tenant and lives in Intake. After
securing his City & Guilds in Painting and Decoration at 20, he
served nine years in the Royal Air Force Provost Branch. Managerial
positions followed with Shell UK Oil, Cleveland Coin International
and Retail Outlets in the USA. He is currently with the Northeast
Doncaster Citizens Advice Bureau in Thorne as a volunteer adviser
and superviser. He is secretary to the Intake High-Rise TARA and
has had affiliations with ICE (Intake Community Enterprise) and
Intake Action group.

Independent Board Members:

John Young MBE
For over 30 years, John has occupied senior
positions in the public sector specialising in housing and the
management of direct services. A local man living in Dunscroft, he
has represented voluntary, community groups and social enterprises
on a variety of policy and strategic bodies. He is author of a
major research study on partnership workings in Doncaster and has
set up three local social enterprises. John is Chief
Executive to a national award winning community recycling company
and has received the MBE for services to the community in South
Yorkshire.

Doctor Rory Perrett
Rory trained as a mining engineer working at
Armthorpe, Bentley and briefly Harworth pits before moving to
Mining Supplies on Carr Hill. Rory later moved away from the area
pursuing a career in engineering before entering education.
Returning to work in Doncaster in 2003, he joined Doncaster College
working on business development, and is currently Assistant
Principal for Development with interests in economic and social
regeneration.

Andrew Bosmans
Andrew, a Doncaster accountant was born and
bred in the town. A former Adwick School pupil, Andrew has worked
in East Anglia, the West Midlands and North Derbyshire before
returning to his home town. Andrew is also Chair of the Friends of
Doncaster Sheffield Airport (FODSA) and member of the Airport
Consultative Committee. He is vice chair of Governors at
Balby Carr Sports College and in his spare time enjoys reading,
going to horse racing and coach driving.

David Nevett
David lives in Kirk Sandall and is an
engineering craftsman at a Doncaster glass container factory. He
was deputy president of the Open University Students Association
for 2 years. He sits as a parent governor and vice chair of Kirk
Sandall Infant School and serves on the Trustee Board of North East
Doncaster Citizens Advice Bureau. David enjoys driving, classic
cars, motorcycling and is a regular at Rovers home games.

Robert Allen
Robert was born and bred in Doncaster. A former Danum Grammar
School pupil, who went on to study at Leeds and Nottingham
obtaining a Doctorate from the University of Leeds. Since then he
has worked in research and development, higher education,
environmental management and regional development. Working in
Avon, Hull, The Shetland Isles before returning to his home town.
He is currently a Governor of Doncaster College and in his
spare time enjoys gardening and hill walking.

Bill Mordue
Bill is a Labour Councillor and an apprentice
trained fitter by trade, having worked in the railway
industry until the late 90's. As the rail maintenance industry
began to contract, he decided to pursue other interests and has
since completed a degree at the University of Sheffield. In 1999,
he was elected to serve on the Council.

Andrea Milner
Andrea was elected as a Council member in 2007
and is a Ward and Parish Councillor for Rossington. She is a member
of the Planning Committee Visits Group and the Cabinet member for
Connected Communities.

Doreen Woodhouse
Doreen has been a Conservative Councillor in
Doncaster since 2002 and serves the Sprotbrough Ward. She is a
member of the Schools, Children's and Young People's Overview and
Scrutiny panel, the Safer Stronger and Sustainable Communities
Overview and Scrutiny panel, is vice chair on the Awards, Grants
and Transport Appeals Committee, serves on the DMBC Member
Development Working Group, and sits on the Employee Relations (
Disputes Resolution ) Sub-Committee. Doreen is also a member of the
Advisory Board of Sprotbrough Children's Centre and is Chair of
Sprotbrough Parish Council.

Cliff Hampson
Cllr Hampson has served as a Liberal Democrat
councillor in Doncaster since 2002. He runs a private hire taxi
business in the town and lives in Kirk Sandall. He is
involved with many local community groups in Kirk Sandall and
Intake and his hobby is wildlife.
